Hej! I’m planing on going up on the TET through Germany Denmark Norway and Sweden on my GSA 1200 this summer. From the description of the routes, Norway sounds like the most challenging of those countries. I’m wondering what tires would be suitable for this? I know that this is a question with many answers. However, my dilemma is that I will be spending quite a bit of time on-road to get there in the first place so something like the TKC70 looks interesting, but I’d be afraid it won’t cut it once I arrive on the Norwegian trails. In that light maybe something like the K60 or the Karoo 3 might be better - if it’s not worn down by then... Anyway, if anyone has done the Norwegian TET on a big bike, I’d be happy to hear about it.
I did TET Norway on my CRF1000L this summer. I did it on Mitas E-09 rear and Pirelli MT21 front. Complete overkill as Norway can be done on next to street tires.
