New route in Italy all the way south?

Buongiorno,

in the TET map overview we can see that there is a new route in Italy all the way along the Apennine Mountains to the south.
Additionally the total TET-route is now 38.000 km (was 34.000 km before, as far as I remember...).

But there is nothing to see in detail on the Italian page. Still only the route in the Alps is depicted.

Can somebody explain what happened? Or what will happen?

Ciao,

Thomas

Hi Azoto, when looking on the route Lugano direction Slowenia Boarder ( East Direction) it seems there is more onroad instead of offroad....is there any plan for renewing this section as well? Cheers, Holger

The only way, in my mind, is to find a way far from the Alps, since every town and village on or close to those mountains is pushing to have bicycle only tracks.
But again that's just my idea and this year I want to establish a southbound way, so I won't be able to improve the alpine track... but if someone is willing to help, I promise fame and honor

Ride safe,
Azoto

Hi all,

New to TET, not new offroad riding. Is there any progress on the all the way south track? This juli and august I will be in the 'Le Marche' province with my faithful Yamaha TT. If you need any tracks to be checked in that area please let me know, I'll be more then willing to contribute.

Regards, Norbert

Hi,
Any progress on the route to the south discussed above, really looking forward to it as I am living near Naples for the next two years.

Thanks

Gordon

In Italy it becomes day by day more difficult to ride staying legal .
I agree with Azoto , that staying on the Alps will give spectacular views ,but little off road .
being semi Legal is a possibility , but not here .
or not on open source .
I have some tracks that are more Off road , say 85 % .
but want to check out some points before offering them .

Hi
As said , the route is drawn , but I need to check some sections , that are iffy .
will do them as soon the season starts to get milder .
we have also other projects in the back burner ...
a round trip from Milan /Milan going towards France , then north and back to Milan , all off road .
say 90 % . km 1500 ca
another always starting from Milan , going south then towards the east sea , and back to Milan , 700 ca .
