Just joined and so glad to find this RR immediately! Fantastic! I traveled extensively through the Balkans in 2014 thru 2016 while doing a project in Tirana, Albania. I have my bike back in the states but dream of returning someday. Actually, I just want to ride the entire TET :) Thank you for sharing this amazing ride!

Hi
Thanks for your report. really useful
Im going soon from France to Albania. Doing a road trip to Podgorica and then enter the TET in Albania. Do that for one or 2 days, depending on how it goes.
How long do you think it takes to do the loop Koplik - Theth - Shkoder?
Also, I was not planning on taking enduro boots, since I*m only doing 3 or 4 days of offroad. Just simple street boots.
My bike is a ktm 990 with 50/50 tires. And I'm going alone.
You think TET is too much for a big bike without full protective gear? Since I'm stopping in cities and meeting people I would like to avoid bringing these heavy boots.
I have a lot of offroad experience, but I'm not specially talented.
Thanks for your help
Joao

Hello,
you need one day for that loop.I dont recomend riding without the full protection, but its your choice.
Bike is fine, tires better be close to new if they are 50/50.

Cheers!
