Looks like a fabulous trip, I'm halfway through your blog and its very comprehensive, seems like the 701 was just the tool for the job. this will keep me going for the rest of the week!

We would like to take the train to Innsbrouck, ride to Santo stefano di Codere and there join TET italy towards slovenia. (this is just before the 'spaghetti' ascent, of which you also have a picture.
From what I read in your report there are some unpassable sections close to this sections. Would you know if they come before or after the spagetthi thing (in the direction of slovenia). This would be our firts day of TET.
I have some experience in dirt riding, but mostly on my beta 450rr. This would be on my ktm990 with luggage. My friend will be riding a super tenere ... heavy bike.
